Material's performance can meet demands of harsh environment
Water absorption is very small
23°C saturated water absorption: 0.5%
Heat water can be pressurized at 300°C using hot water or steam
Above 200°C hot water can be used continuously
Figure 8 is at 100°C, tensile strength after soaking in hot water test results shows that even if strength of continuous immersion for 200 days and almost did not change significantly
Figure 9 is immersed in hot water at 130° for 11 days after bending modulus retention rate compared with other resins, results shows that retention rate of pure PEEK at 90% and far higher than other resins
